"This year, the United Confectionery Company's exports of Chinese products increased by 20 percent," said the company representative. This year we have prepared 10 new products under the 'Alenka' brand, and the first products that are already in stores in China will help to increase consumer interest. ”

According to the representative, due to safety measures, the delivery time of products when imported into China has increased significantly, since the containers must be sanitized and disinfected.

He noted that in 2021, the company plans to expand the range of goods and the volume of supply.

According to the Association of Enterprises of the Confectionery Industry of Russia (ASKOND), from October 2019 to September 2020, Russia exported 64,400 tons of sugar products to China (70,000 tons from October 2018 to September 2019). The majority of exports are chocolate products (68%). The decrease in Russian exports to China is due to pandemic restrictions.
